Classic cocktails and ice-cream, stirred (not shaken), with an emphasis on seasonality and fun.
It's proving to be a winning combination for Jemma Seeger, founder of The Boozy Spoon, which combines desserts and cocktails into a single, indulgent experience.
Seeger tested the waters with a pina colada ice-cream at Newcastle West "listening bar" Mad Poet in early 2024. Fast forward a year, and she is now selling her range at an independent liquor store, and collaborating with the likes of winemaker Lisa McGuigan and Eureka Distilling.
