Founded in 2024 by Jemma, The Boozy Spoon began as a creative experiment combining her love of ice cream and cocktails. What started in the kitchen quickly evolved into a bold concept. The Boozy Spoon serves up a thoughtfully crafted selection of modern, cocktail-inspired flavours, made with premium ingredients to appeal to every palate.

Made in small batches in Newcastle, Australia and proudly the first alcoholic ice cream brand in NSW; The Boozy Spoon is here to bring something fresh, fun, and a little decadent to your freezer.

Jemma, outside The Boozy Spoon HQ: Mum to Hugo and fur baby Ralphy; breathing through Pilates; sipping spicy margaritas; cooking for friends; and dreaming up her next boozy dessert.

Raised in Sydney’s inner city, Jemma’s love of food began early, fueling a passion for home cooking and travel—from living in London to Toronto, and now Newcastle with her family.

With a background in hospitality, event styling, and travel consulting, Jemma blended her love of food, fun, and entrepreneurship to create The Boozy Spoon: where cocktails aren’t shaken or stirred—they’re churned.

Favourite boozy product? “My first ‘boozy baby’, the Piña Colada ice cream: tropical, smooth, creamy. Or for indulgence, the Hazelnut Liqueur - it’s a solo date night.”
